Mission Statement

A Door of Hope is a 501 C-3 Christian faith-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to help girls/women break the vicious cycle of life-controlling issues and self- destructive behavior such as abuse, addiction, eating disorders, past abortion(s), depression, and self-harm through the love and power of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to help girls and women ages 13 and older, break the cycle of life-controlling issues and self-destructive behaviors such as domestic violence, addiction, incarceration, abortion, human trafficking, depression, and self-harm through the love and power of Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to meet our clients' physical, spiritual, and emotional needs by providing FREE services that include:

  • Free Pregnancy testing
  • Nesting with Hope” Pregnancy Support Group
  • Mommy & Me Boutique-with maternity & baby items
  • H.E.A.R.T.”- Healing Effects of Abortion Related Trauma Encounter
  • Angel Wings”-A grief support group for the loss of a baby/child
  • "Addiction Recovery"-Weekly class to break the bonds on addiction
  • Women Supporting Women”- Supporting the women in our communities
  • SOAR Retreat" -Support for Childhood Sexual Abuse Survivors
  • Camp Hope”-A summer program for girls 13-17 yrs
  • Free one-on-one counseling for women 13 and older
  • Hope Closet-filled with women’s clothing, clothing,
  • Prison Ministry-we visit LPDC once a month
  • Trauma Training & Seminars
  • Never Lose Hope” Scholarship
  • "Voices of Hope" Magazine
  • Speaking Engagements-Churches, businesses, organizations, schools, clubs
