Kristen Kellett

Kristen Kellett, Founder of A Door of Hope Ministries, has a God-given commission that burns in her heart to “Pull them out of the fire for some have escaped death FOR THE LAST TIME!”

Kristen Kellett is a minister and public speaker who is anointed to speak life and spark hope into broken lives. Kristen is the author of The Cry in which she shares her journey to healing from abortion-related trauma. Her story is not only powerful but inspirational as she shares how Jesus freed her from a prison far worse than any jail she has ever been to. She reminds the hearer who God is and who they are in Him, motivating them to move FORWARD!

In 2016, A Door of Hope was awarded the Community Impact Award from The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce. Kristen was honored to receive the “Angel Award” in 2015 through The Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation and the “Women in Media Award of Excellence” in the non-profit category in 2014.

Kristen was the Co-host of Keeping It REAL, a Christian morning TV talk show which aired on Fox 44.

On November 3, 2014, tragedy hit her family when she lost her son Ricky to suicide. He was 29 years old. She believes he lost the battle in his mind when he lost hope. Kristen now answers the call to raise awareness about suicide. A Door of Hope Ministries now provides scholarships to those who have overcome adverse and unfortunate circumstances. The name of that scholarship is the Ricky Maddox Jr. Never Lose Hope Scholarship in honor of her son.

If you would like to schedule Kristen to share her testimony or minister at your next event please email Kristen@Adoorofhopela.com
